Customers that do not want to authenticate their Formstack Sync ConnectWise integration using a full admin user can follow the screenshots below to create a new role with the minimum permissions needed for the sync to function.
We recommend setting a default value for Department on this user as this is a required field when creating new Opportunities in ConnectWise and if this is not set then it will lead to an error in the integration preventing us from creating new Opportunities.
Disclaimer: Note that if you use a Custom User role instead of a Full Admin, you are responsible for ensuring the role's permissions remain up to date with any new features that Sync's product team releases for the ConnectWise Connector. Often new features require access to new API endpoints and if the role that is authenticating the integration does not have these permissions, it can lead to your integration breaking.
