Important: If you are an existing Formstack Sync customer that is migrating from a prior version of Dynamics to Version 9, please follow the instructions to move your Connector setup.
For new customers:
If you are new to Formstack Sync, and installing a Dynamics connector for the first time, please follow the instructions below to get setup with Dynamics v9.
Step 1: Click on Connectors in the left hand side bar and in the drop down search for Dynamics and select V9 then click Install
Step 2: Click on the blue button that says "Sign in to Microsoft Dynamics V9"
Step 3: Enter in your Dynamics CRM Domain
Make sure to include the "https" and everything up until the end of the ".com" like this " https://mycompany.crm.dynamics.com/"
Step 4: Hit Continue and follow on screen prompts to authenticate Formstack Sync
Note: Make sure that your user that you are logging in with is the appropriate user you want to associate with the Formstack Sync integration. When we are updating or creating records in your CRM it will be under the guidance of this individual so it is often best practice to setup a dedicated user account just for Formstack Sync for auditing purposes. If you want to use a custom user role, follow these instructions. We recommend simply using a Full Administrator to avoid issues with the authentication process.
You will be redirected back to Formstack Sync once you have completed the authentication process where you'll want to hit Save on the Connector in Formstack Sync.
