Important Note: SugarCRM is an Unsupported Connector
API Version and Limits
Sync currently uses v4_1 of the SugarCRM API. Learn more about the different versions at https://developer.sugarcrm.com/. SugarCRM does monitor traffic on their On-Demand platform. Traffic in excess of 20 requests per second will be blocked. All other SugarCRM platforms do not have any documented API rate limits.
If you have any questions regarding possible API limits with your Sugar plan please contact your Sugar sales representative.
Authentication Requirements
Formstack Sync must be authenticated by an Administrative user account to integrate with SugarCRM. You will need the user's login credentials as well as your SugarCRM instance's API URL.
You can learn more about how to install the SugarCRM connector for your Sync integration by reviewing the Sugar CRM Connector article.
Supported Objects
Each Object below may list multiple Record types. Not all Record types are supported by Sync so it's important to discuss any not listed here that are important to your integration needs during a consultation or by using the Submit a Support Ticket form..

Important Consideration(s)
Every Connector has a set of considerations and limitations that can impact how data will flow from one System to another. Make sure to discuss your key integration goals with your Sync sales representative to ensure we can meet your needs.
-
By default Sync can only create Contact type Records as Leads in SugarCRM. However, depending on your business process and the system you are connecting to SugarCRM, Sync may be able to set up your configuration to create new Records at Contacts instead of Leads. Get in touch with our support team to learn more about how this works.
