What's the Difference Between Mapping Filters and Workflows?

There are two methods to control how data syncs from one System to another:

The most common method used by customers to control what data Sync passes from one System to another is Workflows. This method allows for gating entire Records based on specific criteria that must be met in order for them to pass through your integration.

For Sync integrations that require more granular configurations, Filter Mappings allow you to restrict when a given Field is included as part of a Record being created or updated. While your Sync integration supports this feature, it is recommended that it not be implemented unless you've conducted a thorough analysis of the considerations and configuration required to do so.
